JMU

Post by 77HEN »

With the SBC Conf. Championship win last night, JMU has sealed a spot in the upcoming College Football playoffs.

Kennesaw turned a 2-10 into a 10-3 season. JMU in the CFB playoffs. The first shows you need to create high goals and you can achieve them. Same for the latter and it also highlights the myopic “leadership” of UD over the last several decades.

JMU only gets in playoff (maybe) if Duke beats Virginia.

Tulane will be ahead of them either way.

The Dookies Charmin soft strength of schedule may keep them out of the CFP yet

They will 99.9% be in the playoffs if Duke wins today. This was noted in last night’s broadcast.

Had they beat Louisville they would definitely get in. It's nice to know its possible if you run the table.

They did.. I feel UD could catch up with the right vision. Maybe i'm too much of a homer but there seems to be momentum for UD football we haven't seen in a while.

UD perhaps had a chance to hire Chesney; Carty was hired instead. Not sure if Chesney could have had better success at UD than Carty, JMU really has its act together. That has been apparent for a long time. Anyway, Carty is enjoying a positive trajectory so we shall see how far he (and UD) can take the team.

Ok but I’d rather have UD on my resume than JMU

No comparison…JMU is light years ahead of us. Not sure we will ever be able to catch up.

Well, we play them in a couple of years. Don’t count the Hens out! No one thought we would beat UConn!

UConn is no JMU. The Dukes have built themselves into a legitimate college football power. At the rate they are going I wouldn’t be shocked to see them in a power conference within the next 5 years.

The ACC sent a letter last night to the committee, making the case for both Duke & Miami to be in the CFP and totally trashing JMU as well. Stay tuned.

Speaking of Duke...they beat Wake Forest by 17. UConn beat Duke by 3 in Connecticut. Who beat UConn in Newark? 8)

The strange, unpredictable world of college football.

JMU is in, will play Oregon Ducks. Chesney will coach through their playoff effort before leaving for UCLA. Congratulations to JMU.
