As much as I’d love to have Coach Brey back, I highly doubt he would be interested at his age. Regardless…there is no way in he!! he would do it if MI was fired.

I saw Steinwedel a number of years back working at Del Tech in Wilmington. We talked Hoops for 5-10 minutes and he told me he had NO desire to ever Coach College Basketball again and he seemed pretty emphatic.

brainstorming here- probably not in the cards- so- make MI a bball ambassador recruiter( he has brought in some talent over the years). use one of the assistants I view on the bench to be interim coach. I have no clue who is the best of these guys since I don't go the games and talk and watch the assistants. You all use the insanity definition to describe "continuing the same leadership when it's apparently broke". Seems like the situation now

Ingelsby is here another year. Unless the school wants to buy out the contract or a big donor which I doubt they do.
