Played in 8 of 11 games for the Hens with 5 starts at defensive tackle. Notched 10 take-downs (3 solo), including a sack and 1 other tackle for loss against Hofstra for which Manny was named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Co-Defensive Player of the Week (along with Erik Johnson).

Backup defensive tackle played in six games. Made two tackles on the season, both on solo stops vs. James Madison

Three-year, two-way starter at offensive line and defensive line for coach Ken Lucas, a former UD standout defensive back, at Gonzaga High School...two-time all-league and All-Metro pick...captain of team as a senior...nominated for U.S. Army All-American “Tough Man” Award...led team to 2002 conference title and No. 2 metro ranking...team was also league runner-up in 2001 and 2003...named to mdvarsity.com “Dream Team”...played basketball and was a weight thrower in track...led basketball team to 2003 city title...led track and field team to 2002 league title and placed third individually in the shot put.
