I am not surprised UD is apaparently sticking with 13 Men's Basketball schollies when 15 are now allowed. Given UD's long history of injuries to Men's Basketball players, UD coud really use those 2 extra schollies if the coaching staff can recruit 15 players worthy of schollies to come to UD. I assume that it it isn't only the cost of the two extra schollies but the presumed extra NIL $ that would be required that would present a problem for UD. I wonder how many Men's Basketball schollies the other CUSA Men's Basketball teams have.

DaveB, If you know & can share did MI dismiss Phillips or did Phillips resign to pursue other coaching opportunities before the ship goes down? As long as MI is here I don't see Phillips leaving as a good thing and he certainly shouldn't be the scapegoat for UD's long standing problems at the post position. I believe that Phillips had a godo reputation for his work with UD's front court players over the past 10 years. Any insights into Phillips' reputation as a recruiter?

I'm not trying to sound cranky because i complained about the MLAX videos the other week but good god almighty what are we doing https://x.com/DelawareMBB/status/2036185670033506582

Who is telling the social media folks to post this stuff, why is this being approved?? This can't be Martin right saying do this? Surely this has to be from the administration and higher ups that can't read the room

It might be little thing in the grand scheme of things but it's making me irrationally annoyed

On Tuesdays, after a full moon, a day after MI ate spaghetti with a creamy vodka sauce and some little italian meatballs with a touch of oregano and a glass of pinot noir, when his family members were laughing and holding up a picture of MI when he was six, and the sun, which was just coming out of the clouds in the background, cast a sharp shadow across the room, and the dog was barking in the background while Bob Seger's Like a Rock was playing on the radio, Martin is undefeated at 1-0.

Not even trying to pile on either but 27 losses feels like kind of a lot of losses too. Like it doesn't even feel like a good stat. Wish there was a way to see what most teams records are when doing that

Seriously, they don't have a clue. One would think the empty seats would speak volumes.

THey have ZERO plans to upgrade basketball. This is a made up stat that someone in the department had to research in order to make it up. It's ridiculous the lengths they are going to say all is well

Now that’s funny. I thought the same thing when I saw that post. Talk about grasping at straws. Please don’t try to convince us the current staff has done a good job. MI is officially on the clock. Produce a +20 win season and compete for a CUSA title next season. Nothing less can be acceptable!!!

Bobby Hurley coming in here after his Arizona State exit sure would have given our sluggish program a JOLT of energy and excitement. Go for it Dammit

Why is the school so perpetually cheap?!!! we really need to change agreed the empty seat seats are awful. It’s literally the same people that go to most games and then you get your casual people that come to see their kids dance at halftime here and there, but we’re literally not making any new fans and the student attendance was the worst. I’ve ever seen it this year.

May the employment gods grant me as long a leash in my position as some Hens coaches (in multiple sports) have in theirs.

Mediocre season after mediocre season and all the empty seats were the reason I was hesitant to elevate Mr. Skolinick. Unfortunately it seems the institution suffers from small mindedness or complacency and I was afraid that any one in the current Athletic Department would be more of the same.

Here's hoping Jordan Skolnick is a breath of fresh air.
