This appears to be the first portal commit. Hit 444 with 16 HR’s and 70 RBI in just 40 games for Juco Hudson Valley.

Jacksonville State, Liberty, and Missouri State are No. 3 seeds within their respective regionals.Udforever1 wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 12:34 pm As expected, CUSA gets three teams in the NCAA tournament. Solid year for the conference.
Liberty is only one to draw a top-8 national seed (No. 3 Georgia). Others are No. 9 Southern Miss (Jacksonville State) and No. 15 Kansas (Missouri State).
Their first games are against two ACC teams and one SEC team.

Re: 2026 Baseball
For today's first-round games, Liberty (-125) and Jacksonville (-130) are slight favorites over Boston College and Virginia, respectively. Arkansas (-200) is favored over Missouri State. All the games are at neutral sites (for these matchups).

Re: 2026 Baseball
Jacksonville State rolled Virginia; Missouri State fell to Arkansas.
Jacksonville State has an opening to advance in its regional following host Southern Miss' loss to Little Rock.
Tons of games today if you like flipping channels and keeping up with the scores.

Re: 2026 Baseball
Missouri State goes two and out, being eliminated by old friend Northeastern.
Liberty lost to Georgia but just defeated BC again in the elimination game. Will need to beat Georgia twice now.
Jacksonville State lost to Little Rock. Will need to battle back through the loser’s bracket, play at 4 against Virginia again.

Osiah Kelley (Sussex Central), Delaware player of the year and #1 ranked player in the MD/DE ‘26 class, has committed to the Maryland Terps. We used to land players like him.

Will be interesting to see what position Kelley ends up at. Originally he committed as a pitcher, but hasn’t been able to pitch in two years.East Coaster wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2026 12:48 pm Osiah Kelley (Sussex Central), Delaware player of the year and #1 ranked player in the MD/DE ‘26 class, has committed to the Maryland Terps. Side note, not sure what’s going on at Maryland but at last check they were up to around 20 guys who have jumped into the portal.
