At the practice yesterday, I chatted with the most knowledgeable basketball guy I know (who no longer posts on GoHens) and he said that Pasha does not play like a freshman (much better) and that Allen would be a really good addition. He also had questions about how well the front court can/will play. Throwing up three point shots is okay when they are going in, but when they aren't ........ offensive boards could be hard to come by.

Unfortunately this team is fundamentally flawed before the season even starts. The lack of legitimate post play will be our Achilles heal…yet again. It’s a shame because if we had a legitimate big we could be dangerous to deal with. I suspect we will once again be a mid-tier CAA team with some flashes at times, but not enough under the boards to make this a special year. Hoping I’m wrong and we find a way to make it all work.

got to thinking that MI is in a perfect position to prove the experts wrong. He can prove his ability in his 8th season that he has the "stuff" to produce an ncaa tournament team that can truly compete. Man, would that make this season special. Here's hoping

He’s actually entering his 9th season. MI’s all-time coaching record against Division I teams is 121 and 117, and his all-time conference record is 63 and 72. Not very good. I’d like to think this is an important year to begin to show some progress…especially as we get ready to transition to an even tougher CUSA next year…

looks like Houston Emory can't be identified by the NJ. I recognized him immediately. So far he's had a tough time in Newark.

Seems like a good kid and nice practice player, but I don’t expect him to have any impact. Hopefully his brother will be able to contribute in a meaningful way.

as to Pasha- spent an extra year after graduating hs to prepare for college ball- so he's a fish but a year older- that should be beneficial both for academics and bball.
Looking forward to seeing our squad both as a team and the new additions.
I noticed the women are playing at GW before our guys face Bucknell
