Feels a bit late at this stage of the recruiting cycle, but will remain hopeful we find someone who can actually contribute down low this season.

Bishop State CC forward Kevin Kogbara has committed to Delaware. Kogbara, a 6’8” forward/wing that will be taking the final spot on the roster, averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds across 9 minutes per game last season.

Not what I was hoping for, but certainly wish the kid luck in Newark. So frustrating that we are going to have yet another season without adequate post play...ugh!!!

“ Big body versatile player who is sneaky athletic, physical and very talented.”
-Bishop State

“ 6’8 Kevin Kogbara of Bishop State is incredible. Handles it. Elite footwork. Shoots it. Bully in the post. Ignore the numbers.
Kid is a no brainer D1 player.”

-Jucoadvocate

Looks like a big body, 250-270 depends on where he is listed.

Let's hold off judging him until film of him entering the court. He might look menacing, which would be a good thing....

Listen TH, I have no idea what this kid will contribute over the next two years, probably a role player.
I wanted to give some additional information to the stats provided previously.
Now as to being a laughing buddy, you brought that on yourself with that insightful analysis of Bryant football and their menacing picture.
You even laughed it off in your next posts.

Edit: Look up his film on You Tube. You’re a big film guy.

I also found that he flipped from 2 CC’s to UD. I hope not just another 6’8 “practice” player. 100K a year, the full value of a D1 scholly, is expensive for a practice player!

A full scholly to UD is now valued at $100K per year?

I assume you are thinking scholarship Bill and 07 is thinking scholarship AND NIL money. At our level, the combined NIL cash paid from a collective and the value of a full scholarship probably does average $100k per player, players 1-8 or 9, or close to it.
