Thank U for that stat. I read that on ESPN last week.

It's a total farce and joke.

I am only one guy and a nobody........I have very little interest in this latest product we call NCAA Hoops.

Not all of the transfers are on scholarship, are they? Many are trying to find a place where they can get free tuition and or NIL money.

Some are on scholarship, but want a better environment (more money, more playing time, more whatever). Some may have been told there wasn't a future for them at their present school...or maybe they hate the school.

Not sure how many are currently on schollies and are voluntarily giving that up without some confidence that they will be picked up. In any case, kids are learning a big lesson about their value in the free market.

Indeed. Plenty of talent out there. MI just has to find the pieces that fit best.

I like Martin, but he has to start producing better results.

I agree that their are a plethora of athletes to fill the needs and that MI has to succeed asap even though we like him personally. Unfortunately we are just rehashing the same story year after year. Success in the major sports have an effect on successful recruiting- they are not mutually exclusive with a few exceptions.

just want a competitive program with a decent BIG MAN in the middle.

No one is right or wrong,

It just sounds to me like a cat chasing his tail every year??

Yes, plenty to choose from, can't comment on a single one of them. But they knock it out of the park with 3 guys and have a great year, do they stay? do they go? Only had 1 year?

Most likely it will be like this every year. I can't ask any coach at our level to hit a home run every year in this process. That's a lot to ask. Even moving up.

I love the Team and always root for them, I just can't see a year 33. I don't know what that makes me??? :?

I think most like Martin personally, but he simply has to be better. One championship in 8 years doesn’t feel good enough to me. And that title was a bit of a “catching lightening in a bottle” kind of run. His 8-year CAA record is 63 and 72 (.467), and the highest we have ever finished in the conference during his tenure is 4th place. Those numbers just scream mediocrity. We need to see significant improvement this season or it might be time to move on. No more excuses…get it done!!!

Was Wes Peterson on a scholarship? 4/5 years at UD, including summers, tutors, and other benefits is worth what? 400-500K, not a bad gig if you can get it! #GoHens
