We are actually regressing honestly, no fire in this team ugh

Maybe they are worn down as the season progresses with the starting five playing most of every game with limited minutes from only two players off the bench except in garbage time?

Where did Reilly’s game go ? This has been a lost season for him . Looks overmatched in most games . Recruiting is the main reason this season has been underwhelming . Lack of height and outside shooting puts this team at a disadvantage against too many teams . The rotation of only 7 players is ridiculous . Recruiting has to be much better .

Getting a good big man in the CAA is always a challenge, but I'm curious about what the plan was for the frontcourt going into the season. Did Ingelsby and Phillips think Houser, Ray, and Davis were enough in the frontcourt? Houser needs to get stronger, and I think he has a good skill set, but right now, he's just overmatched on defense and hasn't found his rhythm in the offense. Davis and Ray both play hard, but they are undersized in the paint.

What was the plan? Because if the plan was to rely on Houser, Ray, and Davis to man the frontcourt, then I don't understand what Ingelsby is thinking.

They don't need a star but they do need big man who has size and won't get pushed around.

Yes, getting a good big man in the CAA is always a challenge, but at least the better CAA Men's Basketball programs are able to regularly do it and often have multiple big men on their rosters who can play. Those programs usually also have more players than UD with height at the Forward positions and also at Guard. Those prograsm usally have more overall speed than UD.

It’s been that way for 8 years. Time for a change in philosophy. We have never been a great defensive team under MI and this is a big reason why in my opinion.

Trent finally played aggressive defense last night which he hasn’t done much in conference play. With his length and athleticism he needs to create havoc on defense like he did last night. But it’s a lot to ask of everyone to plays balls to the walls d when there is a limited rotation.

Thought the same with Houston but checked in with the team and he still is not.

Drumgoole's years:
2019/20 - Pittsburgh (21 games)
2020/21 - Pittsburgh (COVID year, no eligibility)
2021/22 - Albany (Season ending injury first game of season, no eligibility)
2022/23 - Albany (31 games)
2023/24 - Delaware (29 games)

Will be his 6th year in college, but last year of eligibility.
