What’s old is new again - hybrid Wing-T at Navy

Post by Big R »

So, the triple option that Navy has been running for years will have a new look next year.

What is described sounds very similar to the offense Tubby and Ted were running at UD towards the end of their careers, which Tubby said had morphed considerably from the old Wing-T of yore.

BTW, they are getting a different kind of cat at QB. Incoming freshman QB Alex Erby is a stud, and quite a prolific passer. I’m looking for a Matt Nagy kind of career from him.

Maybe it is me but I don't see the point in posting non-UD links that require subscriptions to access.

No kidding but capitalgazette.com and pennlive.com are not UD related sites like WNJ, Newark Post, etc. that many UD fans here and otherwise may subscribe to. How many UD fans subscribe to capitalgazette.com, pennlive.com, and other non-UD related sites that rarely have any UD news? Not many I bet. If you don"t subsrcibe to most of these other sites you don't get access. There is no point in posting links that few here will be able to access. The info contained at these sites should be summarized by the poster who has access.
