I hope we get some out of conference FBS home game besides JMU. I believe we can schedule home and away games with Coastal Carolina in Myrtle Beach. Coastal moved up several years ago and has not been able to schedule an out of conference home game with a FBS school.

By the way, the students are excited about the announcement...and the move up continues to be discussed. We are now playing more teams they know.

I hope we get some out of conference FBS home game besides JMU. I believe we can schedule home and away games with Coastal Carolina in Myrtle Beach. Coastal moved up several years ago and has not been able to schedule an out of conference home game with a FBS school.

Coastal would be a great home and home! However, Coastal has been able to schedule FBS ooc home games:
2021: Kansas and UMass
2022: Army and Buffalo
2023: Jaxx St.

well they NEED to green light the NEZ project and fill in the HUGE gaps in the stadium structure and add capacity. 18K will NOT bring in FBS non-conference games other than the former FCS FBS schools....

In agreement with sort of being one of the larger fish in the FCS pond we were able to have a bunch of non con games even if opponents were less than desirable. Going into FBS i am not sure what folks expectations are, but we will most likely be having less non conference games at home than ee are used to. We are now bottom feeder fish of FBS still

I was going off memory rather than checking. Did all these teams play in Myrtle Beach? If so, then we need to schedule similar.
