Saw in the box score that the Hens had a 10 point lead on Drexel yesterday with 8 minutes left. They then scored two points the rest of the game and lost 61-59.

It was ugly to watch. Sad considering how well they played, and especially how well they responded each time Drexel made a run at them before that.

#22 was a liability yesterday she caused the problems at the end of the game pretty much single handed neither Drexel or Delaware looks all that great this year, which is not typical of the CAA. Meanwhile Stonybrook is killing it.

Turnovers are a major issue for this team. We had 21 turnovers compared to 10 for Drexel. We out rebounded them, had a better field goal percentage, and had a better 3–point percentage. We desperately need someone who can handle the basketball especially when pressed.

They were missing Mays-Prince and Wilson who is their second leading scorer.

Averaging a bit over 17 turnovers per game.

Not nice to say, I know, but some of these turnovers, bad passes, etc. border on the comedic.

Its ok to be honest its the college level and i cant believe some of the stuff I see. Over the years this is definitely one of the fundamentaly worst I have seen.

What is also bothersome is that the coach continually states on the radio broadcasts that she doesn't know what to do about the team's performance. Isn't that her job?

Seen them live a few times and it's usually pretty ugly with inexplicable lapses.

I didn’t listen last night, but listened to the Monday radio show a few weeks ago and there was zero accountability on her end.

I mean at least one time give an Andy Reid, “I have to put our players in a better position to win” or something.

3 points in one quarter is comedic…or tragic…on any level…so is averaging over 17 turnovers per game.

Now, my high school team had a point guard throw a pass to an outline of a person that was painted on the wall of our opponent’s gym. THAT, was comedy gold. We couldn’t stop laughing…for years. Chuckling as a type this.

good point HJ, I may be one of the few who view all their games including the last debacle as they couldn't score with 6 minutes remaining in the game. It was difficult to fathom losing that game which was in the PALM of our hands.

I have decided my previous posts clearly list the numerous issues with this squad both this one and last year. I've also posted the fact that there is talent available and a lack of any difficult CAA quality teams( ST. BR. is decent) The problem in one word is the lack of coaching( be it the head coach or the assistants). The continual BALL CONTROL comedy of errors looks at times like a Marx brothers film. These kids play out of control and are are still encouraged to rush the ball up the court. That's fine strategy if it works, but it's been successful only part of the time. So coach the kids to be selective and/or rarely employ this attack mode. This should have been corrected a long ago. I won't go into any individual comments about the players performances. As this season is winding down, I will make one exception- Cloe Wilson. I posted after she was signed that she had proved her ability to score big at FDU and rebound prodigiously, but her TO problems were my concern. She's not the only one. It's almost impossible to find a player who has a positive A-TO ratio.

These kids can play. some are quite talented especially at the level of competition we schedule. But the season record speaks for itself as does the O scheme which only partly utilizes their talents. One on one forcing the issue results in these give aways!!

There is till no reason they can't win the CAA auto invite. Just rein them in. make it abundantly clear that's the main goal. Tell them "patience is a virtue"-repeat every 2 minutes- and challenge them NOT to put their feet to the metal. we the fans, the Lady Hens, and SJ might still salvage this season of disappointment smiling! At least we won't give it away.
