comedy of errors- down 46-27 at the half with many TOS and poor shooting except 100% from the FT line

the ladies have arisen from their sleep and have been on a tear. who knows what lurks ?

edit- the lousy 3pt % turns out to be the difference as NE as the same # of TOs. UD gave a nice 4th period effort though NE sort of fell asleep at the wheel

We need to show the # of time outs on our screen. most every other school lists them.

First half tonight by Delaware was the worst basketball I’ve seen as a season ticket holder since 1998 . I did not see the 3 point quarter from their last game . They played out of control with sloppy ball handling (12 TO) and poor shooting . Watching that 20 minutes was painful . Coach says they are a good team .

What a shame! 6 wins on the season is pretty bad. We have not had many years
Where we flat out are not good this seems like one …. Question is what will be done about our flagship women's sport?

On the silver lining side, 30 of their 66 points came from true freshmen.

This team has become unwatchable. Whoever is keeping the statistics is not possibly counting all of the turnovers. And the way the coach humiliates some of the players is also getting a bit out of hand, IMHO. I hope CR has her eye on this program.

Tonight's program listed Cherisier as a junior, but she is identified as a true freshman on the team roster page. My bad.

What are the chances she admits she made a bad hire, taking suggestion of a former coach on an assistant instead of holding a wide search …. I used to have season tickets for both over last 5 years cut back to just going to 2 to 3 games. I still have a game in February and the senior day game. I did not expect us to be this bad!

Listened to the men’s radio show Monday and while I usually don’t, decided to listen to the women’s as well. The blame was placed all towards the players. Wasn’t even one Andy Reid type, “I have to be better” or “I have to put us in a better position.”

As for Jenkins, assuming this year continues the way it’s going, I’d imagine she gets another year after this one. Last year to me was a bit of a throwaway year with Dickey graduating, Adair taking half the team and the entire recruiting class. It appears that she can recruit a bit with Sundback turning down P5 offers and the two recruits coming in next year having major offers. But so far doesn’t seem like she can coach, as this team appears to be getting worse.
