Nice to get this rivalry back. ‘27 and ‘31 at home, and ‘28 and ‘32 at JMU. Can’t believe we are talking about the 30’s already…LOL

It’s crazy how far ahead these schedules get made.

Outstanding job by Chrissi, Jordan, and whoever else was involved.

We get JMU AND no more CAA dregs. That's called a win-win.

Woo-hoo!

Heck, let’s also get a series with ODU and the winner of the three team series can get a trophy that says: CAA Re-Do NonConference Conference Champion.

And…nice that the series begins in 2027. That will give us time to get to 85 schollies with kids specifically recruited for FBS.

Would still like to get a set of regional H/H games with Army and Navy. Add in Air Force; we have a large AFB in nearby Dover…bet the game would draw in some of those folks as fans.
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

Another BIG PLUS of going FBS!! Congratulations!

Captain obvious-- This series (H-H) NEVER happens without the move to CUSA.

Regional opponent advantages:

--better fan interest and attendance

--more media attention from the whole UD-JMU area

--"Big games" create more attention from recruits

-- Easy travel for fans and team

-- Money--better bottom line>>>Travel savings+better fan attendance= more$$

I had always dreamed of getting Bryant for a home opener, but that'll never happen.

Hopefully not, when fully transitioned, but I'm sure we'll see one FCS per year.

How about home and home with Temple, UMass, and UConn?

Also, Hens - JMU game exposure can only help grab more recruits from Norfolk - Virginia Beach area also, hot bed.

The obvious benefits of FBS football continue to be apparent. Look for more good non conference games. 2024 will be the last year to have the Hens with a crappy, uninspiring schedule. But keep your eyes on the target folks. FBS football is almost here.

When college football finally gets settled I would be surprised if JMU and UD didn't end up in the same conference. They are the modern day Temple and a great school and fan base to loath.
