Agree! Greg is a high energy, big "upside" coach. We have been stagnant for way too long. Good things ahead.....

Greenly, Gubitosi, and Velasquez did not play in the fall, presumably because of injuries. Those three would be key players in the upcoming spring season and make a difference in the win/loss column. Does anyone know their status?

We are two weeks away. Gald to see the guys getting some decent weather in so they can scrimmage outside a little.

Im intersted in to see how the rotation stacks up....def think its key to name a Friday, Saturday and Sunday starter early and then weekday starter by committee [who needs work, who could eat innings etc]

I would think Greenly would be one of the conference starters, as he was the Friday starter most of last season. August throws hard, but needs better control, which will come. Velasquez, who was in line to be a conference starter last season and was injured all of last season, has not been appearing in the scrimmages this spring. Gubitosi, who had a great season, has also not been pitching in the preseason scrimmages.

Thanks EC.

As hard as August throws, would love to see him late in a game as a closer type. Maybe we could get two games each weekend out of him that way [assuming his pitch count is low].

Perfect Game picked its preseason first team all conference players. From Delaware, Lloynd is the third basemen and transfer Aaron Graeber is an outfielder. August was chosen preseason Freshman of the Year.
Northeastern is ranked 24th nationally.

Great preview UD. Bats will probably carry this team. Some younger, promising arms will be relied on, so I hope there’s some patience on this board at least early on and people aren’t panicking.

Future is very bright for this program.

My first question is what are his expectations for the season? They are in a tough CAA. The second question is who the star from fall has been and who has done more than what him and the staff expected.

Hens picked 6th.

Just for comparison, going off the NET rankings of last year, they’d be 4th in Conf USA.
