Re: Delaware v. Bucknell
Nice start to the season. Shot the ball well from the field and 3. Need to shoot better from the line. We certainly have some depth and it’s nice that Davis doesn’t have to be the man. Very efficient game from him.
Re: Delaware v. Bucknell
Lots of good from each of the 9 guys who played. We just gotta keep playing to our strengths and building chemistry on the court! Excited for this season

Re: Delaware v. Bucknell
Certainly a nice start to the season on the road. Need to obviously be better from the free throw line, but not much to complain about tonight. Hoping either Emory and/or Moss will give us something down low to help with our depth in the post.
Re: Delaware v. Bucknell
Nice road win.
No idea how good or bad Bucknell is at this point but I like what I saw from our guys. Hopefully Bethea is not out for long because he is another weapon. Not sure if Jarome will see minutes when Bethea is back because he looked shaky.
Charleston held on at home vs Iona
Elon was up big on Wake but ended up losing. Carr had 20 pts
Towson lost by 18 to a good Colorado team
Ross got blasted by 42 to Pitt in his first game at NCA&T
Future OOC opponents
Princeton beat Rutgers 68-61
Brown lost to Colgate 72-70
Xavier beat RMU 77-63
URI beat CCSU 81-70
Rider beat D3 Immaculata 113-67
Del St lost to Penn St 79-45
Air Force down 31-27 to Portland St at half
Other games:
Nelson has 11 pts, 6 assist, 5 steals and 2 blocks so far for TCU
Horton led Texas with 17 in their win

Solid opening night. We have weapons, that’s for sure. Houser is going to free up Davis, a real issue last season IMO.

This is true. But have to hope that neither Davis or Houser gets into foul trouble or has an injury. Hens need one more big man. That's the hole in the roster right now.

Re: Delaware v. Bucknell
I managed to catch the final 15 minutes of the game, and what I witnessed left me impressed. This Delaware team appears to have made significant strides since last year. The ball movement and selfless team play were on full display. Davis was a menace in the paint for opposing teams and continued to dominate, and Houser's composure and control on the court stood out.
One of the most intriguing aspects of this squad is their offensive versatility. With multiple players capable of lighting up the scoreboard, it seems like we'll witness a different hot hand every night. Keep an eye on Drumgoole and Reilly, as they possess the scoring prowess to deliver 20+ point performances throughout the season.
While Trent contributed 5 assists to the team's cause, he also committed 3 turnovers. There's no doubt he'll improve, but it's apparent that the team lacks a traditional floor general. However, perhaps the team's playing style, emphasizing ball movement and passing, can compensate for the absence of a true point guard.
One area that deserves scrutiny is free-throw shooting. The responsibility for the team's 3-12 (25%) free throw performance primarily falls on Trent, Drumgoole, and Lane, while the rest of the team went 11-16 (65%). Improving free throw efficiency will be crucial as the season progresses.
Davis, with his outstanding performance of 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists, delivered a true first-team CAA showcase. His relentless work ethic and ability to get the job done make him a key asset for this Delaware team.
