Lots of top 25 teams lost on Saturday
Be careful of the words you say,
keep them soft and sweet.
You never know from day to day
which ones you'll have to eat!

The guy who tweeted that UD should ashamed of themselves for firing Rocco. Nice.

Don't see us beating any of the 9 teams he has ranked ahead of the us on this list. We only play one more top 25 ranked team the rest of the year in Villanova. If we are top 10 good, we should easily go into the playoffs 10-1 or 9-2 (if we lose to ANY of the teams left on the schedule we will drop back quite a bit in the poll). Even if we do end up 10-1, we shouldn't go any higher than 10 in the rankings or get a seed in the playoffs, our strength of schedule just doesn't warrant that.

Maybe so, but I’m not sure William and Mary is as good as that ranking. They have a good defense but their offense only scored 15 points on Charleston Southern, a team who gave up 77 points to Western Carolina.

A really good and exciting win on Saturday, but I think it's way too early to believe that poll (or any poll for that matter). Let the season play out and we'll see where we are in November.

Jax- Bingo-I agree as well. 56pt for WC win v an 8pt for W&M over the same opponent- that speaks volumes

LOL, “Coastal”AA commissioner told the BHTC that the new CAA is the best FCS conference from top to bottom in the USA. Some conference leaders are rated higher but our bottom is better than all other’s bottom. He denied SOS is diluted by all the recent and new moves.

Wonder what he thinks after Towson lost to Norfolk and Monmouth to Lafayette.

TBH, I don't think any of us were "buying" what he was "selling". We were polite and respectful, as we should have been. 77HEN asked good questions.

I sat with the Commish during lunch (dude ate three large plates of salad!). I asked him why did the CAA expand so much after JMU left. His answer, “stability”.

It looks as though the CAA and the member university presidents are anticipating other teams leaving (my conclusion not his words).

Nice guy, great speaker, and a guy looking toward the future of the CAA (perhaps without UD).
