The Hens beat four-time defending CAA champion Towson yesterday in volleyball. With the win, Delaware snapped a 14-match losing streak against Towson. The Hens are now 9-2 and having a great year.

congrats on the successful season 8) . good luck in the playoffs Lady Hens

I decided to google the present MV rankings to evaluate our team. We're ranked #64 which is quite(very) impressive. I proceeded to check out the overall quality of our OOC record as well as CAA results. I was disappointed to view the quality of competition we faced( no team was ranked above us) though the players have no say in the schedule they are presented. I would hope the coach and the others involved in next year's schedule selection process(outside of the CAA) will add more challenging teams/tournaments. If we want to attempt to move up in the rankings and recruits even more quality players, this will necessitate a new perspective.

The analogy between football and volleyball stands out. The same goes for bball. Possibly a new FBS? move could eliminate my concern-JMHO- devil's advocate- FBS independent status would let US determine our competition.

Of all people with attitude Pat-you should know what that sports boards are for-opinions/discussion- you clearly missed my point. You've been hurling insults recently left and right. If that's your thing-kinda like the Stones "Street Fighting Man"- well, just keep hurling dude. Anger Management issues?

It's not a insult, being way too sensitive. It's just the same thing over and over. We get it, no need to kick a horse when it's down.

That's all.

hey pal- reread my post which is clearly a positive one with a strong ounce of reality included. That's similar to many of our sports teams "strength of schedule" list of opponents. Maybe you need to take off your rose colored glasses! If you're not capable of accepting reality, well, it's your problem.

again- good luck Lady Hens tonight-
BTW- check out the UD athletics site for a great recap of this season's accomplishments.

He always tries to “walk back” his original posts. Amazing!
I’d better add JMHO otherwise I’ll be accused of trolling.😂

Wonder why you had to see the results this morning? It was on FloSports last night and I watched it live. I would think as a major fan of all things bh's, you would of been glued to the game.
