really looking forward to meeting up with a solid FCS team so we can judge our team's progress at this point in the season.
It hit me that we might have a few guys( not listed as rbs) that would fit mt size requisite above and/or who might have played some in hs. Probably would be lbs on our roster. I wonder if the OC has considered this rainy day situation?

 Good one, now honestly, did that come to you right away or did you have to think about it a minute or two because delivery makes all the difference in the world.
No it just popped right in after reading about the weather forecast

By the way, Carty has ditched that crop duster sweep we used to run a few years ago.

I have some vivid memories of seeing slow sputtering yellow planes flying right at the house just above the corn stalks and lower than my upstairs bedroom …. Pilot had to pull up at last minute to avoid hitting the house

As for the game, it’s hard to put into words how big this game is so I won’t…. We get it

New Hampshire has to travel, has to play in bad weather, and they should be facing a pretty fired up Blue Hen team with some dangerous skill players to deal with.
UNH, minus the Jiffy Laube, really doesn’t look like world beaters to me. Delaware can certainly beat this team but it’s probably gonna be a wet and wild type of game…. Hold on tight for a last second FG to win it

Didn't you pick UNH to win on another board?
I did in the CAA pool

It’s called the reverse Jinx

Do you already have your post game critique of Carty drafted up in the unfortunate event UNH does win …

Hope your pulling for the Hens
recruiting recruiting recruiting...It ain't rocket science....We need better more athletic players...That simple....

Carib- Maybe we should call you Lou Christie?

Looking forward to seeing what we've really got going for us since Ryan's explosive offense has averaged a rocket 14 ppg in our last 5 losses yet we tend to always seem to blame things on our 3 man defensive front.

I think it's a toss up but I don't call the plays!

Weather forecast going from bad to worse. While it is only Wednesday, the chances this coastal storm skirts out to see seem to be getting less. Oh well, the glorious weather streak was bound to end. Just hope it isn’t a windy deluge. Can’t Carty control the weather!

You must be talking about the defense that has consistently, for the past couple years, allowed our good opponents to run the ball right at us while keeping possession of the ball (thus keeping our offense off the field...which results in lower scoring from our offense) and controlling the clock, right?

Good grief...does anyone really think our D can hope to contain the big boys of FCS? It is as though the two (TWO!) SDSU blowouts didn't happen. One might be an anomaly, but two? We didn't lose 10-3. SDSU walked right through our supposedly fantastic D and scored at will (and was nice enough not to score more....which they could easily have done). Men against boys...despite our ***checks notes*** balanced rosters and the recruiting/rebuilding efforts that some on here touted for many years.

Heck, at least Carty's O doubled Rocco's point production.

In any case, UNH is our next opponent. They aren't a juggernaut, but they will be a good gauge as to how we measure up against one of the better CAA teams (for all that is worth). Beat them, then stomp the Dukes, and we will be in a good position to compete for a playoff birth. :D
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

Carty is working on that. With enough speed and depth, Carty's recruits can run in clockwise circles to create an artificial Bermudez High that might counteract the coastal storm.

UNH has only 9 more plays then the Hens but 5 TD's and 200 total yards more.

Let's please remember that UD's team stats include a game against a top-10 FBS team. UNH does have an FBS game as well but would humbly submit that Penn State is at a higher level than Central Michigan.

Did we play the same teams? In the same weather? Were coaches trying to accomplish the same objectives?

Really? Throw the bait out and Cluck scrambles to get something on the board. Looking forward to Saturday's win!
