Nice comeback from a horrid start. We always seem to play down to the competition, that's gotta change. 21-7 hens at the half.

Final from Hillsboro, OR..

North American Univ. 0
Portland State 91

Almost beating their record beatdown of Delaware State.
(I think that was 107-0 or something like that)

I know Carty reads the board, especially Carib’s posts about the best WR room ever.

But run the damn ball more man.

The passing game in the first half minus the great YAC by Wimberly was a chaotic fire drill. Not good pass blocking, QB is a deer in the headlights too often and it would just be much better if they ran more.

That is all.

Yarns is really looking good. He’s a threat to go the distance every time he breaks through the line.

Yarns is showing out without Cumby in the mix. I watched the replay a few times and didn't see anything too egregious from Cumby in that scrum.

Hens woke up and are dominating now. Wish Buchanan was still around to organize things a bit in the middle.

Broadcast had an interview with Gannon who was also an honorary captain and Pat Devlin was on the broadcast team.

We did what we needed to do tonight, a little inconsistent but you gotta love the big explosive plays on both offense and defense. We have a ton of playmakers, just need O'Connor to be a little bit more steady and getting the ball out. Yarns is a monster at this level, a TD waiting to happen every time he catches the ball. And we've been able to play a ton of kids in these first 3 games as well, something that will be handy later in the season in the event of any injuries. Brogna played well in place of hunter tonight. Like I said after the Penn State game, our real gauge of where we are at is next Saturday against a really good New Hampshire team. Win there and I see no reason we aren't 7-1 with Elon coming in on November 4th.
