St Francis

Turn the page guys! It's not about the 3 man front, greatest wr's of all time or Carty's heritage. We were totally out talented and it's that simple.

Let's get back on track for the Red Flash and a reality adjustment for many . Still lots of season left !

Agree. Have not seen an injury report yet, but it will be interesting to see if there are any line-up/depth chart changes after that drubbing (Tresolini's term).

Who has the edge with our two freshmen QBs? Let's turn the tables on St F. and get Lipovski or Minicucci some minutes to see what they can do!

Yes, back to reality.

STFU got beaten by Robert Morris 31-21 and, thank goodness, the Red Flash don’t seem to have much of a running game.

Perfect match for our D.

This will be a good game to see which players deserve more playing time before the UNH challenge.
Tubby: 3 national titles, one won on the field, all D2
Keeler: 3 national titles, all won on the field, one as a player, two as a coach, 1 D2, 2 FCS
Carty: 2 on-field national titles, one as a player, one as an OC, both FCS

Carty - get an FBS bowl win!

Well said. This needs to be a “get well” game as HenJohn says. A 500+ total offense, confidence building game before a tough one against UNH. Doubt we see much of Marker, so would be nice for O’Connor to have a nice game and then get one of our freshmen Qb’s in.

St Francis lost their 2 best WRs to the portal

JMU wasted no time grabbing one of em

WR SARRATT who played for JMU yesterday had 2 receptions for 52 yards, I don’t remember the other one but he went FBS as well

The point is they don’t look as good as last year

Having said that, they’re probably no worse than Stony Brook. QB Mighty Mo coming back to Newark to exorcise the Demons after last years underwhelming performance and he’s better than Case.

The Fr QB that I caught a 4 second glimpse of was #4 and we might be seeing him sooner than later. 4 seconds isn’t really enough, but it was probably three seconds longer than Carty felt comfortable with

Edit: the other ST F WR was M Jackson who left for App St

Before 2022 they lost WR Summers to Rhode Island and he’s all CAA

Yup, that's amazing. Hens should certainly be 2-1 after Saturday night.

Our NT (Hunter) left early due to injury. He was replaced by Brogna who played pretty well. Brogna ended up with 7 tackles with one behind the line of scrimmage. I expect Brogna to receive a lot more playing time the rest of the season.

Thought Brogna played very well. I did think I saw that Hunter came back into the game.

Hope your right about Hunter. Since he only had 2 tackles he must have been limited.

Well as Marker was sighted with throwing arm in a sling after big 4th quarter hit we can only assume Cartys 2 QB system is over for now.

Or is it?
Who is the the number two QB now?

I’m guessing #4 but no idea what Carty and staff are thinking really

I'm hearing there never really was a 2 QB system and Ryan was hoping #14 would show in game #1 he was capable of playing regularly with Marker in reserve in case he went down physically or was having a bad day. 38-7 is not rotating by any measure.

Call it whatever you want but Marker was put in the Stony Brook game to replace a hot O’Conner, obviously part of the game plan and something we don’t see very often
