The worry meter is close to maxed out. It is difficult to win when there is almost zero faith in the bullpen. HRs, hits, walks, deep counts. Just bad. And Topper had a big hand in effing this up too. Series in real jeopardy.

Wheeler wil have to pitch well and pitch long tonight. Only bullpen arms I trust tonight are Hoffman, Strahm and Alvarado.

Yep. Need at least 7 from Wheeler even if it is now the dreaded 100 pitches. And throw out the analytics based, match up BS and have Dominquez pitch the 8th and Alvarado the 9th. Dominquez didn't pitch Thursday and Alvarado only throw 6 pitches last night but would be 3 days in a row. The Kerkering experiment and rush to have an impact should be over and Kimbrell should only get in in a blow out. What a mess that can get fixed tonight or not.

Much more like it tonight. Big time performance from Wheeler tonight. Close it out Monday.

Wheeler does what he does and the Phillies back to hitting home runs. Have a repeat with Nola at CBP to finish it.

Looks like the Phillies are going to have to do it the hard way with either a big comeback tonight or tomorrow night. Nothing is ever easy.

Brandon Pfaadt has pitched very well this post season but he also lays some eggs and gives up the long ball often

Look for the Phillies to jump on him early and fans go wild as Phillies saunter into the series

Hopefully Texas holds on

Diamondbacks with clutch 2 out hits and Phillies with too many terrible ABs. And Turner and Casty are lost at the plate and Rojas just isn’t MLB ready at the plate. The clock is ticking.

This will be one of the most historic collapses in Philadelphia sports history.

Gutless. Fitting that they did the big balls celebration all year and when it mattered most they had none. Now fully onto the Hens.
