Phillies haven't shown the pitching to be able to beat the Braves this season.

And clinch home field in the Wild Card. Could be a great post season run but the bullpen needs to settle and get the job done. Looks like Alvarado will be the closer, but he can lose it in an instant. I have lost a little trust in Kimbrel and Dominguez, for now. They need to get it back. Glad to see Hoffman playing a bigger role. And maybe the kid who had an electric MLB debut will get some innings the last 5 games and make the post season roster? No need to talk about the lineup. It is the best in MLB, of course outside the Braves almost generational lineup.

Phils are as good or better than any other team out there. Them and the Braves can go toe to toe against each other. Should be a fun October, hopefully they can make it a long one again. Watching the celebration last night was great, these guys love playing together and it shows. Just a fun team to watch.

1 down. Finish tomorrow. Don’t even play around. 79, with all due respect, I hope you can’t go Thursday because that’ll mean no game

Wheeler pitched great tonight, and got a bunch of hits. Hopefully that adds up to more runs tomorrow and we send the Marlins fishing.

Yup, don't fool around in a 3 game series, just end it tonight. Team looked great last night, Wheeler is the ace he is (and he's that kind of a stud that gets even better in the playoffs), and the hitting was timely enough with the whole lineup contributing. Hopefully Nola continues to trend well and has a good outing tonight. Loved the comment on ESPN after the game that Citizens Bank Park, in the playoffs, is like an SEC football stadium in terms of electricity - most of the crowd standing through much of the game, and certainly at big points in it. Phils have a crazy good, and MLB leading win percentage at home in the playoffs since the park was built. Hopefully we add to that tonight.
