So why cant Delaware keep any talent? Is it a money issue? Is it a coaching issue?

Y'all have heard it time and time again, we have great facilities...does that not mean anything any more

Nobody is keeping talent. It’s not a UD thing . Get on X and see the daily parade of players going into the portal

BYU with a massive budget lost Rob Taylor the other day.

It all starts with the money issue. Losing a player to a Southern Conference team is not the same as losing someone to a P4 school. And I suspect that fans are getting somewhat jaded about the "this will be the reality unless you contribute more money" messages. I understand that this is all good for the players; the fans, not so much. Just saying.

I don’t think we lost Houser to Chatty. I think his compensation was reduced due to the fact that he’s gonna miss half the year at least and he decided to go back to his former coach.

We just came off a year where 5 to 6 guys were not playing with potentially two of them refusing to play and being paid. I don’t think Inglesby has the appetite to go through that again.

I would have been more disappointed had we kept Houser this year knowing that he wasn’t going to play. I just can’t take seeing scholarship guys sitting on the bench because they are injured. It’s a win win for both parties that he’s going to Chattanooga. There was no guarantee he would even come back the following year once he was healthy.

Reality: All most all the players in the portal are there for the money. They aren't there for the college experience. For many, they are approaching their 2nd or 3rd school. How do you make any progress toward a degree when you skip from school to school. UD's experience is the experience of many other schools. The high majors select players they want, and the "crumbs" fall to everyone else. It's important to be comfortable with your place in the pecking order because UD will never have the cash to challenge the "Big Boys". Look no further than the championship final 4. There wasn't a coach was making under 4 million and all the rosters were 12 million and up. In the meantime, fans are left wondering "what's going on?". The college game is now big business.

New WBB player that FF podcast tweeted about https://x.com/DaniellaMatus/photo

Is that a Nike jersey? Are we done with adidas and switching to Nike?

Averaged 1 point in 5 minutes per game. Pretty underwhelming first pick up for the ladies. Really no idea why Jenkins is back.

Looks like getting some mid major interest. Has an official visit to UTEP
