Sun Belt schedules drop at 1pm today…. Check for La Tech changes

It appears to me that the litigation between La Tech & CUSA continues. CUSA has an alternate schedule without La Tech in its back pocket. The question is how long can this continue without the litigation and the Fall 2026 CUSA schedule being finalized? There has to be a final deadline.

Which tells us … nothing (yet) other than that the CUSA logo is still shown at the bottom.

The linked schedule on LA Tech's website is non-conference only. Aside from no CUSA games shown on the LA tech website, the difference between that schedule and the LA Tech schedule shown on the CUSA website, is that the CUSA Schedule shows LA Tech playing MTSU on Sep 26 (the week before LA Tech's game with Army) and the LA Tech website doesn't show any game on Sep 26.

The school's site tells you that they aren't putting anything out officially yet.

Would a 3 loss LA Tech team get in the CFP? What if they were 17-3 though?

Interesting that the school makes no mention of last night’s CUSA schedule release on their website. Might be time to get my popcorn out and watch this all play out!

It was also published on Delaware Football X. this morning.

My guess is that someone at CUSA got wind that the Sunbelt was going to release their schedule today with La Tech in it so they went ahead with a "midnight" release of their own (also with La Tech). I can't see any other reason for a nearly 10:00 pm release. Gamesmanship as the court battle plays out. Stinks for fans that just want to get excited for the upcoming season and especially for those that plan to travel to any conference away games.

Also, La. Tech men's basketball made the CUSA final. And they won't have to face Liberty, who were knocked off in the quarterfinals by Missouri State.

And we know how good (for the conference) La. Tech's women's basketball is. How about those potential championship photos with the conference logo, etc.
