I gotta agree with this sentiment. Hannah brought through some amazing players, even though UD is not a warm weather school. Mench was national college player of the year his junior year after hitting 31 homers. He was drafted, and he decided to come back for his senior year. Hannah had many other excellent players - August, Wallace, Lesher, the Taylor brothers, Bleckley, Garragazzo, Trout, Waibel, Sherman, etc. One of his teams finished the season ranked 14th in the nation, and for a number of years was the best team in the mid-Atlantic, northeastern part of the country. Coach Sherman also had his fair share of great players over they years - Walter, Sullivan. Glover, to name a few.

I just pulled up their schedule; they are 10-19 overall with a seven [7]-game losing streak, 1-8 in conference, 9-8 at home and 1-11 on the road. They are in 11th out of 12 place in conference and only in 11th because their overall record is a game better.

Terrible is an understatement...is the coaches seat getting hot or are we at new normal with the bottom feeder

It looks to me like most of the steals are due to the runners getting a better jump on the pitchers than they should.

Posted earlier this year that it would take some time to catch up in CUSA, but even I’m getting a bit concerned with the way they’re playing. Things have not been good at all since that game 3 loss to Dallas Baptist.

Swept in Las Cruces this weekend; losing streak is at 10 games.

This team is just terrible ...no other way to put it. Wholesale changes need to be made...roster overhaul, staff changes, combo of both.

We only gave up 6 walks yesterday so a moral victory.

I have said it before - its time for some wholesale changes. Fire the entire staff, lets start from scratch. I know its year one but this team is flat out terrible.

MO State comes for their visit. Lets hope we can be competitive and snap the losing streak.

If we struggle this weekend, we need to make the changes now. Mams is just killing this program and the pod pitching is a terrible idea.

it was an ugly game tonight against the Missouri State Bears. Our pitchers walked 12, threw one wild pitch, and hit one batter. Mo State walked none, hit no batters, and threw no wild pitches.

Our clean up batter all season, Davis, did not play, Is he injured? Also, Lambert was the number three hitter in the lineup early in the season until he was hit with a pitch. He came back to pinch hit a couple weeks ago, but has not been in the lineup since. It definitely hurts the offense to have two hitters from the middle of the lineup on the bench.

12 walks in one game is a disgrace at any level let alone the college level.

I get it that CUSA is a step up from the CAA, but my God the plate is the same size.

Sherman’s offense first philosophy doesn’t look so bad now. Geesh! And UD didn’t hire August because he didn’t represent enough of a change from Sherman in philosophy. Oh well ….. not many care about baseball and at this rate even fewer will.

There are 20 pitchers on the roster and they can’t find anyone who can throw strikes. 285 innings pitched and 217 walks, 37 wild pitches, and 44 hit batters.

1-13 in conference and our pitchers have given up the most hits & walks in the league. Something needs to change.

Mams & his staff have to go. We knew well over a year in advance we would be making the change to CUSA, did we not prepare or plan for that?

I’m starting to wonder if we hired August would Tyler still be here?
