Carty > Rocco > Brock
Just win in the fall, baby.
KC > Carty > Rocco > Brock
I can think of another coach that could be placed to the left of KC
Carty is it certainly not going to change a thing
And personally, I would never even consider watching a coaches show, especially one staring Dave Brock, but the stories from Henjohn and Joe about their interactions with Brock were fascinating must reads …
Now, if you told me Carty was having a sit down with some true and knowledgeable fans outside of the media, I would be all in to hear what he had to say.
Maybe a round table at Starbucks where somebody can slip a couple of shots of Cap’n Morgen into his soy latte to loosen him up a bit

Winning Games > Practicing Football Fundamentals > Placing Tackling Dummies > Cleaning Cpl. Doodle Doo's Cage > Anything To Do With "Content"
Nothing is required when it comes to content. To each program their own. Content doesn't complete any passes, score any TDs, block any kicks or make any tackles. If the product is bad, a slick video won't help (men's lacrosse).
I would like to clarify my previous post. I was not suggesting that we need to go back to the kind of openess to fans or the media that Coach Brock allowed, as informative and enjoyable as that was. I just wanted to re-share that experience. I could also point to experiences that I had while representing GoHens when Coach Keeler was here and I could schedule some time to go into his office and conduct interviews, as I'm sure KT and other media reps also did.
AND, if I had to make a choice between getting more than the current level of coverage and winning more football games, I would opt for winning more games.
I also recognize that social media back then is not the same as it is now, and that probably plays a role in all of this.
However I believe there might be some sort of happy medium that allows more coverage but does not jeopardize the team's ability to win games.
My question, and one I hope to ask some day, is: "What exactly is the concern for allowing fans at practices, and/or media from staying for the second half of practice on only a few selected days?" Is there truly a concern that someone will see (and/or make a video recording of) some aspect of practice that would then be broadcast to the world and allow opposing teams an advantage? Or, is it considered a huge distraction? Whatever the reason, then just tell us that.
By not sharing the reasons for these fan and media exclusions, it just causes frustration and theory generation that is just plain unhealthy, espcially among some of the most loyal fans and supporters of UD Football.

This is a great take. The absolute lack of media coverage is gonna bite them in the rear end. Where are you? Driving new fans from revenue butts and the seats this isn’t the first year now of FBS football so I’m not saying the novelties worn off but it’s not the first year so we’ll see how many we get on a Tuesday night in October I think they should be doing anything and everything can to market the heck out of this program
For all of those who rightfully make fun of the CAA’s fall from grace and how uninspiring it was with the Hampton Inn and the Campbell soups and the NC ATTs of college football, it wouldn’t have hurt my feelings to see Villanova, Richmond, and the William and Mary’s make that move up to CUSA instead of the Patriot League
I didn’t mention Stony Brook and I should because that place blows…. Hopefully they don’t get any ideas.

I agree about SBU in its present state, but the ceiling for Stony Brook is much higher than the others. It's an academic peer of UD, an AAU member and a flagship university in well populated state. If they chose to make the financial commitment to athletic excellence, they could be a power to be reckoned with. A name change wouldn't hurt either.

Aside from a few high light clips posted by UD its been crickets out of spring practice. I know the days of being allowed to spectate are over but was definitely hoping for more info than I have seen.
I agree. Why is there a lack of communication by the department to the fans? Lots of good ideas being thrown around this thread but zero good reason why the people that work for Delaware can’t do this still for us.
They’re posting on the social media constantly but but with zero meaning to it, we got the one video of Nick talking about his unfinished business and they said it would be a series and no follow up
In the day of transfer portal and roster turnover I’d love to get to know the team better that isn’t just seeing a random photo dump on the social medias
Since it was held on the Practice fields and not in the Stadium it was harder to see everything. It was also roped off in spots so viewing all the action was tough. With my somewhat limited sightings-
* Minicucci looked sharp to me with lots of velocity on his throws. Trujillo struggled a little bit but Freshman Tyler Bell looked very good including a short and long TD pass. A former UD player I watched with said the Coaches think Bell is the "real deal". Looks very athletic.
* Kaderris Roberts looked very good running the football. Bowling Green transfer RB.
* Transfer DE James Steel looked huge and active. His dad said hes around 280. Transfer OT Jack Small from Duke looked huge and every bit of the 6-6 hes listed at.
* Michigan's State Transfer DB George Mullins had 2 picks on deflected balls.
* WR Dan Parisi made a spectacular diving catch for a TD from Bell to end the Practice. Team went crazy.
* Lots of JUICE from the team throughout Drills.
* HUGE crowd there with the session ending at 11:20 am or well before the 12 Noon listed stop time.

#3, Kederris Roberts looked pretty quick and shifty. I wanted to watch for Ty Salazar (#13) but he was on the S/L not participating. Doku (FR, #17) looked pretty damn tall. Future target for the EZ fade?
