My other concern with the program is that we get key freshman in BUT we dont retain them. One good year & they are gone. The portal has really killed some good programs, and De is one of them.
Do I think MI will ever get us to the early Brey era? Def not but I also dont think think program will be competitive for a long while. A shame how bad things have gotten

Delaware was a “good program”???? We obviously differ on the definition of what a good program represents. Have we had a few good seasons over the past 40+ years??? Sure…but to ever use the term “good program” to describe UD men’s basketball is a bit of a stretch. I’m hoping we can get there in my lifetime, but with each passing season the likelihood of that ever happening continues to diminish. Hopefully Jordan has a plan to finally get us there.
"So now what?" is essentially the premise of our F&FG interview with Jordan Skolnick assessing the men's and women's basketball seasons, discussing transfer portal objectives, talking staff changes and basketball's place at Delaware, and even including a uniform tidbit.
I apologize for my mic quality on this one. We're in a new recording studio software and now I know what tweak I'll make on my end for my sound. Jordan's, the most important audio, is clear as day, and in coming episodes on this new software (which is made for a throwback Windows look), we'll have standalone windows where the speaker is isolated as the only picture when speaking.
Jordan continues to say all the right things…very impressive. But even he acknowledged that talk is cheap. Time for MI to put up or shut up. Next season has to show significant improvement or it will be time to move on.

It should be noted that Rainey did not have any Basketball scholarships which started in Steinwedel's first year.
Would love to have Mike Pegues come back as an assistant. I believe he was not retained when Butler fired their coach. Their new coach has not brought Mike back so I believe he’s available. It’s a long shot but would be great to have him back in Newark.
