Line is sitting at MD -10.5...I hope we come out with our hair on fire and make this a closer game than it should be. That's a pipe dream, but looking forward to this being a competitive game. We have the offensive weapons, nut can we get them the ball consistently??? Face offs and possessions will be the key. Fingers crossed it's not a pure blow out.

Thanks for the thread start, fbh.

FYI folks, the game is at 7pm tonight.

Shame the weather didn't work out for the fans.

Once again, if we clean it up, we can stay within reason and maybe...maybe...pull off an upset with a hot goalie and some good sniping. If the...interesting...stuff keeps happening, it will be a long, cold night for our Hens.

An upset would be epic...Maryland is sitting at 1-3, but they've lost some squeakers to ranked (#2 Syracuse, #12 Princeton and #1 Notre Dame) opponents...and that is with the Richmond game having been postponed. Would be awesome to hang loss #4 on them from the 1-4 Hens.

ESPN+ if you are not heading to the game.
It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

I’m here - the largest lax crowd I’ve seen for a UD home game, what is the record anyone?
UD to FBS. I never thought I’d see the day

Well the Terps won 13-8 but were in control the whole game. This isn't even one of their better teams but UD did show some good signs and maybe something to build on.

Over 2,000 in attendance. I assume many came from Maryland. It was one of the largest crowds this season anywhere, except for Syracuse. Cuse had two games around 5,000 and drew over 10,000 for their game against Maryland.

For as much as UD pads the football attendance number at times - there has to be more than 2100 last night. I’d say almost double

From Quint Kessinich of Inside Lacrosse on the MD UD game:

"The Terps were sloppy on Friday night at Delaware in an unimpressive 13-8 win. Eric Spanos did not play. Turnovers, defensive miscues and a lack of genuine joy defined my viewing experience on E+. The Blue Hens played hard, although content to keep the score respectable, killing clock while down a handful of goals seemed odd."
