I thought like this until UD Hoops educated me that the sticks don't handle collisions in verging-on-extreme cold well; they could conceivably snap and be a hazard with that. I also don't know if the pads are conducive to layering for 24 (more likely below). UDH, correct me on anything I'm off on here.
It wasn't 24 degrees out there, today. 17 as I passed the stadium just before game time...wind chill around 11 at the start.

The game was supposed to be tomorrow. Weather Channel says 24 and Accuweather 20 both with low wind.

The stick breaking hazard argument seems a little weak. The cold is really weak. But few really care so not a big deal.
