Those crossover passes that went for huge gains or TD's were inexcusable and downright embarrassing against a team that supposed does not pass well. If we are recruiting better it had better show up next season.

Downward trends in November continue for Carty and staff. Disappointed we weren’t more competitive today, but getting to .500 in our inaugural FBS season would be a positive. Now let’s flush this one and finish off strong against UTEP. Then focus on bringing in more FBS talent for 2026. And hopefully a new DC with a much more aggressive style. Ralph, you available??? 😁

I hope that old saying holds true - “any publicity is good publicity”. Cause the team is not generating much good publicity lately. Gonna make it harder to hold good players and attract good players. That end of the first half touchdown should seal the D coordinator’s time at UD. Head coach has a long way to go too.

Not disappointed. This is a measuring stick game. We need to get bigger, faster, stronger and get some FBS coaching in house. We’re not there yet but are on our way.

We are on our way somewhere, but I’m not sure where. If all of the concerns about coaching that have been expressed on this board are legitimate, things might have to get much worse before we see a turn for the better. A lot of dominoes have to fall at UD before big changes to the coaching staff can occur.

All the problems in the football program got highlighted and underlined today.

How the AD responds in the offseason will speak volumes about the Hens future.

Hens under Carty, road games after September (including playoffs): 4-11 (.266 win %)

Wins against Hampton, Towson, Campbell (all in 2023) and Monmouth (2024).

In the end, I've always appreciated a well-played football game. Montana vs Montana St was a good one today-worth watching-that's really all I ask-a game worth watching- on to 2-8 UTEP team at home to finish up- feeling a little better- ND 56-0 vs Syracuse-with 11 min left in 3rd-

Ummm I don't think that this School even has an AD. I could be wrong, but did they ever hire a new AD after firing Rawak?? The Google machine/apparatus is not helping. 😛

Just wondering if anyone thinks the 2025 team is better than last year? I recall that the losses to Richmond and VU last season were somewhat attributed to having a few "impact "players sit out games in order to save a year of eligibility for the transition to FBS. Also, checking the schedule for the FBS teams Delaware has played since 2015, there were 7, only Penn State was a more lopsided score than the Wake game today. Even more remarkable, we loss to Wake 38-21 in 2016.

What a crazy unpredictable conference this is.

Today:

MTSU defeats Sammy
LaTech defeats Liberty
FIU defeats Jax St
WKU hanging with LSU, down 7-3 in 2nd half.

Decisions will need to be made in the off season for UD.

For now, just beat 2-9 UTEP on Saturday. Let's quit complaining about what we, as fans, cannot control.
Just get to 6-6. We (almost) all would have signed on for that in August.
Go Hens!

Edit: Winning on Saturday would actually mean we finish with a win. When has that last happened?

According to WF’s game notes, they added 38 transfers to their roster in 2025, which ranks as the second most in the country. I believe their entire DL was new in 2025 with all being transfers. In contrast, Delaware had only 12 transfers in 2025, with only 4 of those being on defense. We better hit the transfer portal hard in 2026, especially on defense. You can build a decent defense pretty quickly through wise portal additions.

2015, concluding a 4-7 season, Hens won at Elon in finale.
