Can’t wait. Freshmen classes will continue to improve, but the portal battle will also be important. Games are won in the trenches.

Pretty telling when you go down the 4-star recruit count for the P5's vs the G5's. Aka, the "haves" vs the "have-nots."

Stars can be a bit misleading at times though. Not saying they aren’t fun to look at, they are. And are usually a pretty good indicator of where the player is at.

But for example, Justin Joly, the UConn transfer WR who was committed to us under Rocco, tweeted that he was a “not ranked” recruit. As soon as he committed to Uconn, he automatically became a 2 star. Also saw something last year where a high school recruit said he was a 3 star. As soon as he committed to a P5, he became a 4.

Always exciting to look at though, and even better that we have some 3 stars that were committed to us as an FCS school this recruiting class.

Speaking of recruiting, another great article by KT today regarding some of the recruits and the move.
