Any non-blue and yellow team. Liberty, for one. Also, if he's still around in a few years, Mr. Keeler will get some ribbing when he rolls his pokes into Newark.

Not nearly as far fetched as saying Wesley would hang with UD.

Henny is right. There’s zero reason why this program can’t eventually be right on par in all sports with the Marylands and Virginias.

Reaction to this post itself is the proof in the pudding. Six pages of comments on a Monday? I know we are the die-hards but this news spurs interest, clicks, likes, reactions, mentions, comments, by fans, national media, other school fan bases, etc.

Like it or not, that's coin of the realm in today's world.

Agree Ralph. Hoping CUSA isn't our final targeted landing spot.
I don’t think it will be. But you gotta take the first step. If UD had done what they should have several years ago, they’d be in the Sun Belt with JMU now. But better later, as usual with UD, than never.

Onward and upward.
Whether you are happy or not about the decision, this move simply had to happen for all the reasons discussed on gohens. The CAA and FCS football are just not relevant. And outside of the Dakotas, no one cares. The move to FBS is long overdue, but I am personally thrilled to finally be doing this. And who knows what will happen in the next 5 to 10 years. But to stay where we were just wasn’t viable. Now let’s kick up the recruiting another level!!!

Coach, the $100,000,000 facility project is a start, followed by maybe a major renovation and upgrade to the Bob, etc.......

Delaware is one of the very few schools that can do this the right way.

Trending on Twitter and when it was announced it was one of the top stories on ESPN page. I’d say a pretty good start for exposure.

For sure, Henny. UD is going in with some momentum, and thankfully it seems like the powers that be are finally realizing the potential of this University.

This is a real positive of the move. Can we expect to see more, better recruits coming our way now? Maybe some OL and DL guys.

Navy, army, temple, UConn, Umass, JMU etc etc all could come to our house sounds pretty good to me!
