As was said in another thread, Elon isn't doing anything fancy. They're just solid and take advantage of bad matchups. And they make their field goals.

looks like this is shaping up to be a well deserved loss. Our OL is being totally outplayed. Our pass coverage has been really poor. Our special teams have had a bad day. Too many underthrown passes. Poor game plan.

High hopes dashed by a team that is playing better football.
This was the game I had mentally pencilled-in to gauge where we are.
We still struggle with basic stuff, and all the gee-whiz receivers and running backs don’t fix that.

Most of offense was trying to hit bombs down sideline in 2H.
And Elon's special teams are light years ahead of Hens'.
