Second half put out guys who are still competing for spots (there should be quite a few) and evaluate what you have. No lie or exaggeration I would like to see what we have in Sanders. O’Connor is gonna be a Trent Hurley type player. He will beat the bad teams, go 50/50 against hood teams, and not be able to beat the really good ones (FCS). Why UD after the last decade has continued this cavalier attitude towards a position so vital to the game and once engrained in our DNA is beyond me.

Carty should look at how that position has cost the previous 3 coaches and take that NIL $ and get a QB next year.

Buying a QB could be another reason to move up. That TV $ sure might help us in that catagory.

On D…28-7 lead…against our Little Sisters of the Poor?

He got what he wanted…but I hope it comes back at him when his team is down.

Yeah…looked as though the time keeper was having trouble with the new rules.

I agree that not going after an experienced, FBS transfer QB this year was problematic. There's got to be a few 2-3 year back ups who would want to start for us. Zach Calzada (TAMU QB who beat Alabama) is starting for Incarnate Word.

Getting a transfer QB is easier now than ever…if you pay. We have a 2 Billion Endowment that was discussed on another thread get a QB…that’s what every school who cares about football (big and small…if you think Mount Union ain’t giving grants to athletes you’re nuts) does when they can’t recruit effectively and consistently at the position. Look at Oklahoma.

You don’t “call off the dogs” at a 28-7 1st half score. You get as many 1st half points as possible, AND then in the 2nd half you put your teams 2’s and 3’s in the game.
