Whatever happens next week, shake it off and beat STFU on the 16th and UNH on the 23rd. Those games will really matter.

They looked Terrible yesterday against a very average program. Didn't look anything like the team that visited Delaware Stadium late last season

Phommachanh was injured at the end of the opening drive when we tied up Auburn 7-7. That is all she wrote, but Carlos Davis did come in late in the 3rd qtr and did have a nice drive. UMass loses big 14 to 59 Auburn, with a 1.95 million pay day check.
MAC NIU beat Boston College and Toledo lost in the final 5 seconds to Illinois 28 - 30.

Yes sir- the MAC looked tough in week 1. The Chippewas started nicely, and the Broncos( beat ST. Fr.) scores were solid.

Bearkats hung tough (only on defense) at now-Big 12 Brigham Young. Got shut out 14-0 in the final, moved the ball in spots but not approaching enough to overcome their misses.
SHSU went 2-for-14 on 3rd down and was outgained 257-185 in total yds. Kats managed just 1.6 yds per rush and QB Keegan Shoemaker's three interceptions were problematic.
Elsewhere in Conference USA, Maine threatened Florida International as described in 14-12 L. FIU has a habit of playing narrow scores or losing to FCS opps.
In a game earmarked for FCS-over-FBS upset odds, Incarnate Word tapered off on offense in its 28-14 loss to UTEP. If you didn't catch any of the game live on ESPN+ or haven't seen clips online after the fact, you're missing out--UTEP's production value for the ESPN+ stream was in the gutter. The camera angles during one stretch of action would switch up every few seconds or split seconds erratically, the presentation was in this sorta strange color-enhancing filter for a time, often you'd get the on-field camera on sideline pointed to and literally zoomed in on the ground exclusively... Great example of simply being on ESPN+ vs. FloSports not being the end-all, be-all for directing and production quality. It was stunning for an FBS program's bcast to look like this AND lack audio in sync with visuals.

Couldn’t get the audio to work on the UTEP game. The commercials had audio, but not the game.
And…why did FIU not have the down and distance visual on their broadcast? C’mon, man, that is ridiculous. The announcers didn’t tell the audience often, so one just had to guess.
Maine blew that game. Easy FG puts them up. Just a dumb decision.
