I'm curious about incoming freshmen edge rusher Kion Wright and tackle Anwar O'Neal. Anwar is up to around 270 if he can get to 280 and still be nimble he could challenge immediately for playing time on the offensive line. He has very good hands and if not for sitting his senior season out due to reasons beyond his control he would've been at a Power 5 school. Kion is similar in which he's packed on weight had FBS offers but wanted to play early on, close to home and win. I'll be monitoring both of these players closely through summer camp.

Maybe our whole OL will be the sleepers of the year. The first summer session has started and the number changes and new names have been added to the final roster for all to analyze. Lots of activity went on with the portal but the front five situation looks exactly the same as it did in 2022. I hope you're right about O'Neal but that's a long shot that he'll contribute immediately.

.....the Blue Hens are now bringing in 33 newcomers as the program added 16 student-athletes in December and 12 more in February. The 33 newcomers include 15 members of the University of Delaware Class of 2027 as well as 18 transfers. The group consists of 10 offensive players, 18 defensive players and five specialists."

Agree HZ on ONeal. Very good prospect but I'm hoping he gets a year with our training staff and gets a Redshirt season. He's eventually going to be a very good player but I don't think we'll see him much in 2023 especially after he didn't play any football last year

IF the entire OL end up our sleepers it would be the Blue Hen football miracle we have been waiting two decades for. This will be the third year in a row with pretty much the same starting OL. Usually when you bring in the same players you get similar results. They should be forced to watch the movie "Greater" about Brandon Burlsworth. Blaise Sparks should get on that footwork drill in the movie.

Was he hurt? According to his bio in the recruiting page, had some nice FBS offers! 😎

A sleeper? Someone who comes on, performs better than many may expect and makes fans take notice? Hopefully, that will be Ryan O’Connor.

I sat next to a WCUPA coach at the spring game. He thought Taylor would have no issues excelling at the FCS level!

I like this one JD. I'm looking for him to be an impact player this season
