If the future of college/any sports is a drastic geographic realignment, then we could put together a nice schedule/conference with many of the schools mentioned. BUT- UD would need to be selective and not include weaklings. Poor leadership could destroy the possibility to include Temple, Navy, Maryland, Rutgers with Villanova, Penn, Princeton, Towson, Stony Brook,Army, Monmouth, W&M, Richmond and maybe JMU, UCONN, and UMass with luck. Columbia. Who knows, maybe we enter the Ivy League-nice school recognition- though probably a pipedream.
That would be a pretty nice schedule with limited travel and solid competition.
Don't expect the Ivies unless they alter their "conference only" limitation at present.

imagination is required to give us a solid football et al schedule. The ADs have a lot of time to work on this presently if only in early stages with no commitment.

Pretty elitist to say no NEC and MEAC games and think the Big Ten will won’t say no CAA games.

Maybe so, but I don't believe that UD (at the current level of the program) should play games against the Big Ten in any case.
