I don't remember it ever being on in the past. You can always call the sports information office.

When it was a real game under Tubby, if I remember correctly, it was on the radio....

It's not on the radio or video and I caution everyone to not draw any conclusions from the workout.

Rocco's evaluation yesterday at the TD Club is where this team is now and a scrimmage with limited personnel will not change anything.

Why wouldn’t the game be broadcast on Hens All Access??? If that is indeed the case, just another missed opportunity for UD to connect with fans and supporters. Too bad...

White (defense) defeats Blue (offense). The first four captains (two offense/two defense), as voted on by the team yesterday, were announced:
Kehoe
Farinella
Kitchen
Hill
Lone touchdown was a pass from Kehoe to Pitts that was mostly YAC but a nice ball from Pat.
Roth had a successful FG and the scrimmage-ending FG was also converted, but because the team had circled around the kicker for that, you couldn't identify him.
Weight-room champs were Chuka and Artis Hemmingway.
Most improved went to Andre Robinson (offense) and Drew Nickles (defense).
There was one low snap on a punt that did get off. Coleman muffed one punt-return catch.
Would have liked to see more offensive success, but the defense tends to have the advantage in intrasquad scrimmages.

Well, that was disappointing ..... especially the offense. There is a lot of work to do if this group is going to compete in the CAA.

I very rarely post and keep my thoughts to myself...but I’m frustrated. I hope I’m 100% wrong about this years fortunes. I’ve attended 4 spring practices and the spring game and I just don’t see a team that is going to compete at a very high level. I think this team is going to be very average. I think the offense will suffer through another below average year. Teams will load up against the run and make us throw it...and we just don’t have the ability to consistently throw the ball. I think the screen game is going to be better but We just don’t throw the ball well.

Defensively, we will have problems stopping the run against physical teams even with a four man front and 8 in the box. Cam is the only guy I see getting to the QB and if he’s doubled, I don’t see consistent pressure coming from anyone else. Last years defensive backfield was LOADED and we’re not as good in the front 7...the DB’s are in for a rough ride because they will have to cover a LONG time.

Unless we make huge strides in the summer, I see ANOTHER mediocre year. Again, I hope I’m 100% wrong but my prediction is that this is not a playoff team. Frustrated!

Not one word that I see from posters or online news links about the offensive line - hmmm, wonder why? Is this an example case of what moms' always advise? You know, if you don't have something good to say. We all know it's crucial to have a good OL; how were they in the scrimmage? After, it seems like forever since we've had a great or even above average unit, it would be good to hear some real positives about the OL. I know players were out and this and that, but this relates to depth and if that unit is not there come Fall, then the season will be mediocre at best.
