Hey, are the gameday locker rooms, specifically the home team's locker rooms, remaining in the Bob, or are they adding something in the Whitney for that? I would've assumed they stayed in the Bob but wasn't sure.
Staying in the BOB. There is no locker room space in the Whitney.

I am also wondering if the two end parts of the building are coaches' boxes. The "sill" on the front is lower on both, so I was also wondering if they might be camera booths. But I am thinking Coaches' boxes is more likely.
Much more likely those are spots for cameras. That's where they had wooden platforms in the past few years for cameras so I would expect they would continue to do that now with the longer pressbox.
GF, makes sense, which is what generated my intital comment, but then I was wondering why there wouldn't also be a similar low sill where a camera would be positioned closer to midfield. Maybe they'll just go with those two and then the endzone cameras.

I wish the TV cameras were on the other side so the audience could see the remodeled stands and press box.

Jerry O told me after a gmae last September that the video board was going to be replaced before the start of this season. Any progress on that front?

It funny how it impossible to think of UD football and not hear Elbert’s voice. He was as mild-mannered and decent a guy as you’d ever meet. He didn’t really want the job, and didn’t really have the voice for it. Somehow, though, it was all glorious.

and then they saddled us with the current train wreck announcer. How do you go from an icon to a joke overnight?

I agree and I wish I knew the answer. I cringe at every home football and basketball game I attend and hear that WWF/XFL Announcing.

Yes, the new guy is awful. In his defense, I assume he’s only doing what he’s been told to do, and what damn near every other school in the country does. I would note, though, that LSU has none of that nonsense, and they seem to be doing OK.

Nobody is telling him to yell and scream and make silly voice inflections when it doesn't fit the moment of the contest. It's his style and apparently the University likes it but it sure makes us look amateurish.

I've completely blocked it out as I have the loud music after ever play but it's the norm around the country.
