DSU dropping football?

Postby dovetail on Wed Jan 24, 2018 10:33 am

DSU fired its coach just after the last game and to my knowledge has not yet named a replacement. This is astounding. NLI date is coming up shortly and no new coach with a staff as yet? The DSU website only shows three assistants and they may not even be there now. Very strange to say the least.

did they ever hire an AD? they were in the market for both. maybe that is the hold up? but I do not see how not having a coach for signing day is a good thing for their future......

If that were to happen, I'm guessing guys wishing to transfer wouldn't have to sit out? Anyone on that roster that would be a good get for the Hens? Impact players or depth?

Mike Waters is a pretty good back for them who would do well here. An All Stater from Imhotep Philly.

They've always had at least one receiver that could start for the Hens ....,seriously
I've noticed JMU and Nova fans don't seem to like Rocco, this is a good thing..

One has to wonder without a head coach for two months.......

if they drop, it lends more credibility to why we did not play them all those years. AND it would free up the schedule for a more palatable game. With how unpalatable a game it is for us, I can only imagine how painful it must have been for FSU fans......

Yes, but they didn't tell Western Michigan that the football team won't be coming...it will just be the band showing up.
2018...let's fix this thing!

How then would you get six home games every year with an 11 game schedule? Or are you OK with 5 home games every pother year?
