DIdn't Maclin drop one on the 4 yard line, then couldn't drag both feet on boundd in the final minute? Most good wr's would have. And, good grief, how many minutes did Rothlesr have time to throw? No pass rush. This game was NOT on Joe!

not on the 4, but yes he had poor field awareness and was out of bounbds doing his tiptoe pose. had his feet been 2 inches to his right, we would have had a first down and on our way to tucker range.

I call a 10-yard penalty for you Bozos piling on. The guy only said that had Joe gotten a first down that they could have closed out the game. Of course the defense failed them. But youdee is absolutely correct, a first down would seal the game too. Geeze louise, what a bunch of numbskulls.
Keepin' it real.

1defensive stop over the last quarter and a half would have sealed the game too. youdee placed the blame on Baltimores offense saying the D was gassed. the D choked the last 1.5 quarters.

OK, thanks Henweigh, but enough is enough with this guy. Of course the D should have been able to make a stop Balt. My only point was that had Joe made one first down in that next-to-the-last drive, and not thrown two bounce passes, the game would have been over. He could have bailed the D out and won the game right there. The D didn't hold up and neither did Joe right there. Let's move on.

In the words of Belichick, it's on to the Browns....let 'er drop there Balt.

Good road win to keep Playoff drive alive. Turn on NBC pregame coverage for tonight's game and Rodney Harrison is blasting Joe. Indicated he doesn't like or trust the Ravens chances because he doesn't trust Flacco and saying that Joe just isn't any good. Harrison has been saying this about Joe his whole career.

A Summer camp observation from the Ravens beat writer posted today:

Joe Flacco is passing the ball at a different level than the other three quarterbacks on the Ravens roster right now. He has been throwing tight spirals and showing good touch on deep throws into tight coverage. On Thursday, Flacco connected with Chris Moore and Breshad Perriman on downfield passes and he should have had another big completion if not for a Perriman drop. Flacco looks healthy and leaner than previous years.

That dude has weapons now...and he's pissed. As long as the OLine holds up he's gonna light it up. The guy threw for 4,300 yards two years ago and his completion percentage has been steadily improving since 2013...big year.

“Joe Flacco was asked whether the questions about Lamar Jackson will get annoying thoughout the season. “No I don’t because I think we’re going to win and we’re not going to hear about it,” Flacco said.”

Different Joe now...hope Lamar likes catching passes.

I am still concerned about the play-calling, the OC, and the OL, in addition to whether or not the WR additions will prove it on the field. Joe's knee injury in 2015 was caused by possible projected starting LG/ROT James Hurst getting pushed back into Joe's knee. Two starters were lost from last year's modest OL to free agency. Starting OG Yanda is recovering from shoulder surgery. Joe's critics attack his 2017 season (when Joe had a bad back) Yards Per Attempt of 5.7 (near bottom in league and lowest of his career) and that he too often dumped the ball down to safety valves. They then claim it can't be the OL which allowed the seventh fewest sacks in the NFL. Yeah both stats are because Joe rarely had open receivers at mid-depth or deeper and had to get rid of the ball before he got killed due to the porous OL.

You never know about injuries, they can affect you in ways you don't realize. Hope Joe gets a good healthy year.

Lamar Jackson beating him out...that’s funny. They lit a much needed fire under Joe...mission accomplished.
