Awesome, Jimmy. I'd love to get Coach Brocks's thoughts on the coaching staff. How quickly can we expect the staff to be announced, particularly offensive and defensive coordinators? Also, will any of the existing staff be retained in some capacity?

Also, what are his thoughts on scheduling? Can we expect UD to play one FBS game every year? I know KC wasn't fond of those FBS games, but I think the fans generally like to see one per season. Also gives us a feel for the quality of our team in a given season. No coincidence that the last two FBS wins we had ('03 and '07), both of those teams went on to the national championship game. Would love to see Temple, Rutgers, Maryland, UConn, MAC schools, on the schedule year-in and year-out.

How aggressive will he be in securing transfers to fill in any "gaps" we may have, especially in his first year?

UNH beat FBS teams in several consecutive years...
UD football...playoff bound in 2013...with KC's recruits.

Kudos to Jimmy, Tim, and Coach Brock. That was excellently done, and our new coach came across very well handling the questions. I think we are in good hands.

Go Hens!

Worked fine here, except when Tim went silent a couple of times. The coach came through as sincere and unpretentious. As far as a first impression, he passed my test. The real tests are to follow.

I would have liked a little more info on staffing. Is he keeping anyone, is he cleaning house? does he have the guys in line and just waiting for the red tape..........he was a little vague. Same with offensive philosophy. I know he said that they are going to play to their strengths, but I have never seen a coach who does not have at least a base offensive philosophy that they like run. Tubby had the Base wing T, but adapted to suit the strengths of Conti and Batts, etc........But he did sound like he was not going to make excuses for performance based on facilities. that was refreshing.

I had the same issue that I missed Tim's questions 2-3 times. Well done, Koli (HG07) seems to be resurfacing more & more under the radar lately...

+1

You feel the sincerity when he says "he's the caretaker" of the Delaware football program.

He also seemed to indicate they would play the best teams they could schedule. Refreshing.

I personally do not want to be the BCS team whipping boy every year though. I think that is just stupid. "Hey, let's go play a game we have no possibility of even competing at a high level in...........and an even better probability of losing players to injury......" I hope it stays in the realm of realistic. instead of the cross country trip to Eugene to face Oregon or the trek to Austin to play UT......etc........
