Next to Bayless and Steven A Smith, noboy bashed him more than Mike Wilbon on that idiotic show where he and Kornheiser scream at each other for 30 mins. Tim Hassleback is right there too.

True, Wilbon is an azz. I'll bet none of the three ever played football. Jaworski, Simms, Warner, Namath, all praise Joe. All NFL qb'S BTW. So, who's believeable?

Just said on Mike and Mike that Joe wouldn't be in the top ten and only had success in the 2nd half because the NE DB's went down. What the heck does he have to do

SB Win Bonus = Sizable UDAF Donation = Upgrade in UD Football Facilities = Enhanced Recruiting = I-AA Playoffs = I-AA NC = Invitation to ACC = ACC Championship = Invitation to SEC = SEC Championship = I-A Championship

Am I off base?

That might have all gone out the window, if it was to happen, when Joe's college coach and mentor was fired.

“He’s one of the elite quarterbacks,” Patriots safety Steve Gregory said of Flacco. “I know he gets a lot of flak for maybe possibly not being that type of guy, but, you know, he is.”

These talking heads put way too much stock in the who and the what of quarterbacking. It's a team game. Quarterbacks get way too much credit for everything, wins and losses. Brady is called 'elite', but he's nothing without that system....what's Matt Cassell up to these days? I've seen Brees, Rodgers, Peyton all look absolutely awful at times this year, but they all seem to give the media more red meat for their newspaper/blog columns...but none of them are playing right now.

Joe just needs to keep his head down and not make mistakes. Just like Eli, he's not going to overwhelm you with brink of battle speeches or rallying cries, but when he's on and doing what he's capable of (and his team plays well too) they're capable of beating any team in the league.

It's a team game and I hate how these putzes lose track of it. How great a job did the Raven's defense do of getting their arms up in the air at the line of scrimmage yesterday?!

Just watched the Bayless Stephen A discussion from this AM. In a world full of talking heads, spawned by the need to fill broadcast airtime and Internet bandwidth it should not be a surprise that prats like him get air. I want to know whether that his real hair or whether he owes it to Just for Men Gel.

And Trent Dilfrr doesn't hang his head about having the nerve to wear his. This obsession with QBR is pathetic. Only AT&T that counts is the numbers on the board. Just win!

Well done, Ravens.

I did not expect that result from yesterdays Ravens/Pats game.

Although I am not a Ravens fan, it's nice to see another team represent the AFC besides the Colts, Pats, Stillers. I was actually rooting for the Texans. The past two seasons.

Everyone compares Joe to Matt Ryan.Joe 8-4 in playoffs, 5 wins on the road. Ryan is 1-4 in playoffs. Enough said!

This postseason, all Flacco has done is beat the second-coming of John Elway in Andrew Luck, then beat walk-in Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in consecutive weeks. In doing so, Flacco became just the second quarterback ever to beat both Manning and Brady in the same postseason and he did it in spectacular fashion.

Against Manning, he overcame two back-breaking special teams touchdowns and threw for 331 yards and three touchdowns. Then this weekend against Brady, he goes for 240 yards and three touchdowns. Keep in mind the context here -- he outplayed two of the best quarterbacks to ever play the position, and he did it back-to-back weeks. And he did it on their home fields.
Dr Ben Carson..... my role model. Too smart to be a Republican and to honest to be a Democrat.
