I agree it's time to move on. The timing of KC's departure surprised everyone & there were things I liked about KC & things I didn't like.

From the inception of this board there seemed to be some who were overly pro-KC & some that couldn't let go of the Tubby glory days. Both Tunny & KC are gone now & Brock is the guy. The clock is running on him now & the results start August 29th. I just hope he hires a good staff around him, salvages the recruiting class & has a good core on both sides of the ball in by the end of spring practice so we can have a successful 2013 season.

At the risk of sounding a bit defensive, the responses to my post are interesting to say the least. First off, I apologize if I came across as telling people what they can and can not say, that was not my intention. Let me try this again, briefly.

Does Ziadys move with KC and then hiring a coach with a lackluster record concern me, ABSOLUTELY. It scares me frankly. But I think we know a lot more about the new AD with this pick than about the coach. From what i can see about the coach, the record is very unclear what he brings to the table. His record is not stellar.We simply have to set a fair timetable to hold him accountable for results.

The AD looks like he made a move based on cronyism or seeking a level of comfort from a direct report rather than someone with a stronger track record. OR, he is such an astute assessor of talent he sees something not evident in Brocks record to date. In any event, Brock is here, it is time to move on. Let's figure out what timeline is fair regarding results for him. let's support him.

I'll take my lumps if i came across preachy, not my intention. As for those who equate # of posts to greater knowledge or fan loyalty, they may want to reflect and take themselves a little less seriously.

Brock is here now, lets get behind him and support him and the kids. Lets have a fair timeline for results and ensure Blue Hen football is held to the highest standards.

Henfaithful, I want to give you my warmest welcome to hensnet. I followed the board for years without posting until two years ago. I was first challenged for being a reader and not a writer and then for being a homer. You can see that your 2nd post was not responded to but these guys just move on to their personal agendas usually without any regard to honest postings and responses. I have learned to accept that and I must admit that I still enjoy a lot of their sthick. So kick back, make your posts and realize that no matter how much of an old buddy club that this board has become, it is still the best place to get excellent info on our beloved Blue Hens. GO BLUE!
