Stop Gap?

Any consideration that Brock is just a low priced filler? That it is a favor to an old friend/ temporary solution until UD moves up to D-1? Clear the KC salary and any contractual obligations with the CAA and non-conference schools, then jump up.

That's an interesting thought. I suppose it will depend on if and when Brock's contact details are leaked.

With the turmoil in the Big East right now there's never been a better time to make a serious play for either admission there or in C-USA/MAC if the BE raids them.

Rutgers was going into the Big 10...with an inflow of money and TV appearances (exposure) that any Rutgers coach could ever dream of having.

Playing on national television, in front of 100,000 people at Ohio State, Michigan...and yet Brock says playing in front of UD's crowd in 1995, when we weren't even averaging 20K, was what sold him to come to UD?

Are you kidding me?

Does anyone really believe that?

Brock was getting flack for his lousy production at RU, and rumored ot be on the hot seat, certainly many fans wanted him terminated...and we're supposed to believe Brock was the best hire for UD?

Hello?
UD football...playoff bound in 2013...with KC's recruits.

Some folks need handrails for humor.

Suppose the 60+ "applicants", or interested parties is true. Making the assumption that one of the reasons for firing KC was to try to break from the last regime and get the fan base back. Taking into consideration Brock's resume. I can't help but be a bit dubious. Brock may turn out to be a great HC. I hope he does, for his sake as much as ours. But considering that the school has been toying with the idea of moving up to 1-A, I find it hard to swallow that an untested journeyman is seriously being considered as a long term solution.

Any AD that fires a guy with KC's accomplishments 4 weeks before signing day isn't going to get top flight interest. It screams WTF???

Hello?

Hello? And no, no one is kidding to think that someone would rather be an FCS head coach at UD than a BCS assistant. Do you come up with this stuff just to be controversial or don't you know how the real world works?

Your act is wearing thin. And I think it is an act. Or perhaps you are a disgruntled UD employee?

KC got fired because he didn't win enough for his outsized ego and didn't get along with a lot of folks. Funny, not many players were quoted by KT saying they will miss him. If the Hens were coming off several straight playoff seasons instead of missing 4 of 5 Brock would not be here even if he was Zs secret lover.

Wow, now that poster is delusional. Really? Get a clue, and stop posting your obvious KC hating propaganda. We all can see right thorough your BS
Welcome Coach Brock: May you have as much success, or more, as your last four Predecessors.

Will you cease your KC ballslurping propaganda?

See, it goes both ways. Not just one way. Both ways.

Hens79 is probably one of the few on this message board who actually knows KC. He hardly seems like a hater for pointing out the obvious: that Keeler didn't win enough and didn't get along with enough of the higher up's. That's really not any secret, is it?

Hens79 was on here defending KC strongly before. This characterizing people in the way you (general you) see fit crap has got to stop. Especially in cases like this, when you couldn't be more wrong about someone.

Thanks for the support guys. I just call'em as I see'em. My opinions evolve over time based on current info rather than fit or selectively look at info based on a preconceived opinion. It actually makes me feel good that I am viewed as both a hater or a member of the "Sushine Band" by the extremists and one trick ponies on here.
