Winning seasonand sense of the team going somewhere the following year. Not sure the personnel are there for anything better

SHIIT, I could coach this team to 7-5. Better win a bunch and a playoff game, if not the wolves will come hunting.

If KC were here I imagine the expectations would be for a deep run. I can't see why the expectations should be any different.

Most curious to me will be Brock's assessment that Hurley should, in fact be the #1.

Why would expectations be so high, this team was 2-6 within the conference and the two CAA wins they did manage to get were vs opponents who combined to go 2-20.

I'm not going to change my standards about success.

That said, I doubt the new HC will be successful next year.

As I've said in other threads...the UD cupboard is bare. A winning record will be an achievement, though not 'successful'.

Rediculous statement. Close to all time leader rusher back, returning starter at QB, most of OL, most DL, WR etc .... Plenty of guys back! Not going to win an NC but playoffs should be expected. Geese!

Most of the OL back is a plus, if we can find two more CAA level OL's before the season to add to the three we have.

Otherwise, same old, same old.

Uhhhhhh, this team was really close to 'stinking' last year. Really close.

So, with that said, since all these superstars and starters are coming back, and a brand new coaching staff with a new system on both sides of the ball, you are expecting all this talent to take over and win 8 games?? LOLOLOLOL

Abso Fing lutly! Just like the majority of folks that have posted. Three of the loses were 7 or less with 1 in OT.

I always said if you play in December you've had a good year. Nothing different this time.

What all Coaches should have as their Goal - National Championships. Hopefully he can at least match what his predecessor accomplished with 3 National Championship games in his first 7 years. If he just makes the playoffs and not make into the N.C. game that would be going backward to the Pre-KC Era :x
Welcome Coach Brock: May you have as much success, or more, as your last four Predecessors.

10 wins plus a bcs appearance...oh wait...wrong web site
A few games above 500 would be a nice start, for real...

Gosh, I don't know. Towson reversed their course from big loser to playoffs in a year...so did nova...and ODU also came in with a big start. Is Brock less of a coach than Talley and the rest of those also rans? Those teams are not Delaware...we have a storied history and should be better than those teams and their expectations.

So, those who wanted a new coach should expect this guy to win and win big from the get go.

Anything less than a solid playoff run with the team that is coming back is just an excuse.
UD football...playoff bound in 2013...with KC's recruits.

Some folks need handrails for humor.

The NC always remains the goal, but a successful first season in the Brock Era should include:
-beating JMU
-beating Nova
-8 regular season wins, which should mean a first round home game against a team from a lesser conference and, hopefully, a postseason win. We won't screw up the bid process like JMU.
