Anyone Know Why DE Stadium Was Lit Last Night?

Postby BlueHenBill on Thu Jan 17, 2013 11:59 am

When I arrived just before (around 6:50 PM) the start of the Men's Basketball game last night, DE Stadium and the practice fields were completely lit and I couldn't see any activity. Everything was dark when I exited the game. Anyone know why DE Stadium was lit?

Whenever the basketball teams play at home the football stadium is always lit....

It's a way for the university to remind the fans that there is still a football program there...

Jon Gruden's helicopter was due in around 7:30 for the Press Conf today. That might be why.

His tip was, "stay away from those redneck hotdogs on gohens "

Does anybody remember that famous Tubby line?

That is pretty funny when put in the same sentence as men's basketball, isn't that a rec program? I thought that we dropped men's basketball about 10 years ago.
