Darron Thomas was not the threat to run as Masoli and Mariota...time will tell.

ugh, did you watch Seattle or Washington have success this year??

The Patriots were the fastest team in the NFL this year - got each play off in an average of 24 seconds, the Oregon Ducks snapped the ball every 20 seconds. Hold onto your hats.

Now do the Eagles draft a QB to run Kelly's offense?? Geno Smith??

Maybe with his prior connect to New Hamphire and CAA he may pick KC for some kind of positions coach?

It's not the money that swayed Kelly, but rather, the amenities by being a coach in the 'City of Brotherly Love'. The sober, empathic, altruistic, mellow, attitudes of Philly fans are beyond reproach.

No, he came with the promise to keep Vick on the roster.

How about this theory being tossed around last night.

Kelly tells the Eagles and Oregon he is staying put. Funny thing word leaks out that the NCAA is launching an investigation into Oregon and Kelly

How about that.... Kelly calls the Eagles and all of a sudden is ready to make the jump. (It wouldn't suprise me)

Of course the other side is That the eagles finally relented and gave Kelly complete autonomy. That is other theory I heard last night

watching intently.

If that first scenario unfolds then it really tells us all that may be wrong with college football. I have no knowledge of any of this just

reporting what I was listening to.

The NCAA investigation is complete I think. It was reported late December that the NCAA and Oregon could not agree on sanctions. Maybe Kelly got wind of the sanctions that the NCAA had in mind. Get out of Dodge ala' Pete Carroll, before the bomb drops.

Heck JD it sure adds up. I have no idea but some guy was on ESPN talking about this as a possible scenario and that it spells out

how coaches really don't have any responsiblity. He stated Pete Carroll and others and how wrong it is for coaches to get their universities

in trouble buyt nothing happens to them.

I forget who but one of the other experts said Lurie gave in to Kelly's demand of complete autonomy.

He had to have total control...And they were saying he got it.
