I disagree with SI stating that this is Joe's chance to "Rewrite" his legacy. That implies that his legacy has already been established & it isn't that good! They really need to drop "rewrite" because his legacy is still a work in progress!

this cover pisses me off. Rewrite his legacy? 7-4 in the playoffs, 5 road wins in the playoffs, 3 AFC championship games in first five years, never miss a start, etc......he does not need to rewrite anything. he is WRITING a pretty impressive legacy end of story. THis cover is out of line and unnecessary. It is like he has done something to wrong the national media and they are making him suffer for it. what has he done but win?

The media in general seems to regard Flacco much the same way they did Eli Manning before he shut them up and won a couple of rings. QB's who don't do a lot of talking, aren't huge personalities or rape (allegedly!) casino hosts, tend not to get a lot of respect, regardless of their on-the-field performance or, sometimes, in spite of it.

Here's hoping Joe wins a couple more games this season and puts this crap to rest once and for all.

From what I have always heard, Joe holds his opinions tight and his wallet even tighter. I did really enjoy the SI article tonight. What is funny is that I did not renew my subscription and it may be my last one.

How many other QB's have started every game in the last five years? I am sure the list is a small one. How many have won playoff games in the first five years in the league? That would be only #5. He will soon be a very rich man! Go Ravens!
